SEMETARY DATA LOG 02

DATA LOG: 10/08/20xx

It would appear my modifications to my eldest son, Lincoln, have proven to be too effective… I had slowly altered his brain and nervous system bit by bit, testing to see what I could do to pull back and weaken the limitations put on by the human body. The main focuses of this project involved removing restraint and inhibiting his pain.

Both are rather double edged swords to enact…. A lack of restraint leads to a much more aggressive and ruthless fighter, inhibiting his nervous system’s ability to feel pain makes him able to endure fights and encounters for much longer. But they come at a price.

I had to start stripping away and inhibiting certain emotions to prevent him from becoming an unruly or uncouth individual. I found that this removal of his fear and restraint led him to be too forward, too angry, too sad even, too gleeful. I’m lucky other less savory behaviors didn’t form due to this lack of restraint, but he’s become rather dull and stoic as a result of this. He still shows emotions, but it’s rather suppressed. To think I had to rewire his brain entirely to compensate for this change.

As for his nervous system, he’s had moments of not knowing he was in pain far too much. During one soccer practice he twisted his foot, but didn’t know he had until he kept stumbling and falling over.

Ah, I’m rambling again. Unfortunately it seems there was one thing I forgot to inhibit… love… his platonic love for his family. His younger brother, Victor, has always been a bullied individual. Lincoln though always came to his defense, and as I modified him he’s only gotten more aggressive and abrasive to those bullying Victor. And it came to a head today.

He chased one of Victor’s bullies. Not the normal form of giving chase, he literally hunted him down like a wild animal running after prey. Chased him all the way about school. From what I gathered this time there was physical abuse to Victor. The perpetrator cornered Victor punched him over a matter of refusing to be his patsy over homework. Lincoln saw this, and promptly gave chase. Chased him about the school, nothing seemed to have stopped him, I’m told faculty tried to restrain him but he broke free. Students and teachers described him as… livid… seeing red. I thought I had suppressed any emotions tied to anger but it seems I can’t entirely surpress human will, yet. 

Then… he chased this bully to the roof… and tackled him off it. By some miracle, he’s clinging to life… the bully however, didn’t survive the fall. I’m going to have to figure out an explanation for all of this… I could say he had some undiagnosed personality issue that began to surface… easiest excuse might be we found him using drugs but that’s not an easy to fabricate excuse. I still need his body. I’ll have to fake his death, he’s already at death’s door step as is, that will be the easiest cover up in all of this…

I have to remove him of all emotion. I have to make him an automaton of flesh, I cannot risk that kind of error again. If I’m going to use him to collect parts I need and subjects I need, I cannot allow for any deviation or faults…
